These products were tested in Environmental test chambers. Environmental test chambers that are configured for temperature and humidity testing exposed AKCP products to prolonged periods of extreme temperatures and humidity. One cycle of a test takes about 5 hours. Product are powered and run at testing points (1, 2, 3, and 4). The test begins with the temperature linearly decreasing from a room temperature to -40°C in the first hour. The temperature stays at -40°C for about 30 minutes. Then, it will be heated up to 85°C with relative humidity of 80%. The system will be tested for about 30 minutes at this point, and the temperature will be decreased to room temperature again.

The test result is very interesting. For every product we put into the test chamber, we plugged in three dual sensors in order to compare reading value from the sensors and setting value on the chamber. Reading from all sensors was close to one another, and gave only about 1% error. The sensorProbe2 was especially impressive; it worked perfectly in temperatures ranging from -35°C to 80°C. For the sensorProbe8 series (sensorProbe8, sensorProbe8-X20, and sensorProbe8-X60), the results were very similar with the maximum operating temperature of 55°C. The error that was found at higher temperature was the sensorProbe8 devices recognized some sensors that were not present, and listed them on the summary page. This was not a serious error, and the sensorProbe8 still functioned correctly. The cameraProbe8 also had an operating environment from -35°C to 55°C.
